Sunrise New Hope

After 10 years as an outstanding grassroots NGO, New Hope Cambodia has become a Sunrise Cambodia project.

Two of the biggest humanitarians in Cambodia, Soth Kemsour and Geraldine Cox AM joined forces in 2016 as New Hope Cambodia became the newest Sunrise project – Sunrise New Hope. Sunrise Cambodia and New Hope have shared the same vision of improving the lives of the local people for many years, it’s a perfect match!

There is much work to do in Mondul Bai and by becoming a Sunrise project, Sunrise New Hope is better placed to achieve its goals. Sunrise New Hope has grown to give classroom and vocational education to over 1,000 children, teenagers and adults. The medical centre delivers free healthcare to over 1,200 sick villagers every month. The critical outreach program provides emergency assistance every month to over 340 families living on the edge. And the training restaurant gives young adults practical, life-based skills to give them a jump-start in life.
